Nothing can be better than extending your hand to remind your friend of the best times shared with you and if you are pro at it :) You definitely are a TREASURE for all your friends :)
They don't mean to (ignore blogging). Heck, they don't even realise it! But they do (forget to post). Learning to live without them (posts) is one option. Reaching out is an option too...
